How to scale your startup even when it feels like it's failing

by Carter Deken in May 12th, 2021

This week, VP of Sales and Marketing Zach Rego talks with Ryan Deiss, CEO and founder of Scalable, about how to scale your startup even when it feels like it's failing). You can listen on  Apple or Spotify now.

Ryan's first job was working at a startup, and after that he consulted on web development and content projects. By the time he graduated college he had this "digital publishing empire." People told him that he couldn't just sell PDF books online because nobody would pay for them, but Ryan knew a lot of people that had.

Ryan shares that you should be really be careful with who you listen to and who you share your ideas with. Ryan didn't talk to anybody about what he was doing; he just did it and he was successful. Only when he shared what he was doing after the fact, everyone told him he couldn't do it after he already had. If he had told everyone what he was doing before doing it first himself, he might have believed them and given up.

In the episode, Ryan shares even more knowledge of his journey to becoming a founder and CEO. Listen to the podcast to find out more about this and even more knowledge and backstory.
