How to Build and Test a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

by Carter Deken April 21st, 2021

This week, VP of Sales and Marketing Zach Rego talks with Aram Melkoumov, Co-Founder and CEO of Crowdlinker, about building a proof of concept, launching an MVP, and validating products. You can listen on  Apple or Spotify now.

After graduating college, he started an ecommerce company as his first entrepreneurial venture. After working on the company for three years, he broke even and walked away from it to start other projects. Then, almost eight years ago, Aram launched Crowdlinker.

When Crowdlinker started, it was originally a SaaS company that offered event management and content products. But Aram and his team had to reimagine their products due to privacy laws. This led them to ultimately becoming an end-to-end product studio. Today, Aram and his team take startup company ideas and turn them into full production builds.

On the podcast Aram talks about sticking to a plan and hammering it, he explains further,

"If you pilot something for a month and you give up, you're not gonna get anywhere. If it's not working, you have to reevaluate the plan and try something else. You'll get it over time, it's just a combination of perseverance, hustle, and determination just like anything else in entrepreneurship."
